Tahiti In A Nutshell
Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia. Papeete (PPT) is the capital. Tahiti has the same time zone as Hawaii and is an eight our flight from the West Coast.
The immediate islands surrounding Tahiti are the Society Islands. Bora Bora is the most famous, however all islands are spectacular, which is why a cruise and a resort is the ideal way to experience Tahiti.

Watch a movie with a cocktail, enjoy dinner and take a nap and the 8 hour flight goes by very quickly. Tahiti is on the same time zone as Hawaii, 3 hours behind the West Coast and 6 hours behind the East Coast of USA.
First nights stay at Te Moana Resort. I love the infinity and lagoon pools and the ocean views. Reasonable rates.
